The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 contains more than a few items of interest for small businesses. These are generally targeted at 2009 taxes, not the 2008 return you may be working on now. Some provisions: faster expensing of depreciation, lower estimated taxes, and immediate write-off of certain capital expenses. 

Meanwhile, if you have employees, be prepared for new tax tables that reduce federal withholding taxes.
