8 Simple Rules on How to Improve Your Email Marketing

Here are some tips on how to increase your productiveness
through email marketing.

Shawn asked me to read the Email Breakthrough Report of
March 2009 and give our clients some pointers on becoming more successful
through email marketing.  Implementing
these best practices will drive results and customer satisfaction. More and
more companies are investing in their email marketing campaign. However, since
many of our clients don’t have a lot of resources it is important to remember
to be strategic in your email marketing efforts.

Survey Winners!

The winners of our 6 Question Survey Drawing are Tricia Kandik, Kara Spencer, and Dave Barnes. These clients were randomly picked from a pool of 107 clients who completed out email survey that was sent out in January. They will all win $50 and their names featured on the website and the March Newsletter. Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey, the data that we received is very valuable and will help us better serve our clients needs.

Just what is a microenterprise counselor?

Folks,

Was
doing the usual peruse of the entrepreneurship literature and ran into a useful
description of what we do every day at eDev.

“The primary function of a microenterprise counselor is
to facilitate the performance of a task
or set of tasks by their clients. While counselors also provide advice and
may complete some of the work themselves, their key contributions are the direction and mentoring provided to clients and the feed-back provided on the quality of the clients' work.” (my
italics)

This is the primary job description for most of us.

Entrepreneurship is the Dominant Theme!

Shawn Winkler-Rios played a role in the Lane County Board of County Commissioners work session on Tuesday, January 13th.

The Board met to listen to reports and advisement from those versed in the factors affecting our region. A range of economic strategies was presented.  It's clear that no single strategy will work and there's a need to incorporate several approaches.
