Access to Capital
All businesses need capital at some point. eDev offers assistance in acquiring debt and equity capital for businesses. In addition to our SBA microloan fund which can be found under the MicroLoans tab, eDev also has access to the O.U.R. Federal Credit Union or OMEN's CapitalLink Program.
eDev participants can access microloans up to $10,000 through those organizations. Individuals interested in a microloan must fill out an application to determine if they qualify. eDev also assists in the application process in other state and regional microloan funds offering a wider array of potential loan packages. You must have a business plan completed to be considered for a business loan.
eDev invites your participation in the Individual Development Account (IDA) program that offers a matched savings account to qualified individuals. Eligible participants receive a 3:1 match rate for a period of six months to three years. The maximum savings limit is $1,334 (participant dollars) which is matched with $4,000 (eDev dollars) to equal $5,334. You decide how much to save. For example, you may decide to save $1,000 and the program will match with $3,000. All applications are on a first-come, first-serve basis and subject to availability and program conditions. You must be an Oregon resident.
