Shawn Winkler-Rios, Executive Director
Shawn has been an Oregonian since 1977. He is a UO graduate with a background in his family's business. Shawn was most recently the non-timber forest products Business Development Officer with ShoreBank Enterprise Pacific for Oregon/Washington. He was previously the Program Manager of the Microenterprise Development and Lending (MEDAL) program in Roseburg. He is bi-lingual in Spanish. Shawn often says that he is "passionate about microenterprise" and helping people develop successful new businesses.

Martin Desmond, Loan and finance officer
Martin joined the staff at eDev in May, 2004. He teaches a number of different classes including QuickBooks, basic and advanced bookkeeping, tax strategy, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Publisher. His business experience includes working as the Director for the Northwest Forestry Contractors Association for seven years and as a business manager for a forestry services contractor for five years. He earned a Master of Accounting from the University of Oregon in June, 2003 and has passed the CPA exam.

Leah Murray, Program Coordinator
Leah Murray came to Lane MicroBusiness in August 2004 as an AmeriCorps*VISTA and was hired on as staff in August 2005. Currently the Program Coordinator for the IDA program, she also provides training and technical assistance to LMB clients. Leah has an AAOT from LCC where she majored in Business Management.

Jennifer Teehan
Jennifer Teehan joined Lane MicroBusiness in January 2008. Jennifer had her first taste of MicroEnterprise in 2004 as an AmeriCorps *VISTA in Southern California where she was involved in all aspects of a growing Microenterprise and Economic Development Program. Jennifer teaches business classes, facilitates peer groups and works with vocational rehabilitation clients. She earned an Economics degree at the University of Virginia and completed Georgetown University's Gateway to Business Certificate Program.

Juli Brode
Juli Brode is the newest member of LMB. She was hired on as LMB’s Administrative Assistant in August 2008. She is an adjunct professor at the U of O and has a background in Architecture Planning and Design.

Nicolle Nelson
Nicolle Nelson is the current AmeriCorps VISTA member at Lane MicroBusiness. Nicolle holds an MS in International Development with a specialization in Microenterprise Development. Prior to joining LMB, Nicolle worked in Tanzania where she managed the development of income-generating projects. Nicolle’s primary focus at LMB has been on capacity building; specifically, she has managed the integration of MicroTest into LMB’s current operating procedures. |
