The Power of

Learn about, experience, and practice the Power of Empathy with this effective,
heart-centered formula: Empathy equals presence, understanding, and compassion.
Join us in a step-by-step exploration of one of the most precious gifts we can
offer others and ourselves. Learn how to listen to your self and others in ways
that help meet everyone's needs. In this workshop, you can expect 25% teaching,
25% practice, 25% discussion, and 100% fun!
This workshop is an introduction to the 4/24-25 weekend training, Liberating
Conflict (see below).

Liberating Conflict!

Learn to effectively transform and heal conflicts - internally, with / between
others, and in community. This is a fun, effective, and extremely useful
heart-centered conflict resolution method using the tools and concepts of
Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication (NVC) within an experiential mediation
framework. 
For: Individuals, couples, parents, mediators, counselors, educators,
activists, clergy and laity, NVC'ers, and all of us. 
In this workshop, you will:
~ Learn a powerful 5-step process with 12 core skills.
~ Building your skills in engaging, fun, meaningful activities.
~ Stretch your heart in a buoyant, safe community of peers.
~ Receive guidance and support from coaches in small group practice sessions.
~ Leave with a framework for getting to the "heart of conflict"
quickly -- and compassionately reaching resolution.
