A $55,000 grant from HP included 20 laptop computers and
software which allowed eDev staff to teach mobile computer
classes in rural parts of Oregon.

Classes, workshops, and peer groups offer a framework to understand how to start and develop a business. Each class is general in scope and focuses on building the participant’s business skills and knowledge of business topics.

Workshops are offered to further business knowledge in specific topic areas related to client needs. Peer groups are fostered to provide networking and problem solving opportunities for participants that can further their business goals.

Typical Classes Offered:

-Classes for entrepreneurs focused on Self-Employment, including How to Evaluate and Refine Your Idea and How to Write a Business Plan; basic marketing and accounting classes.
-Classes for entrepreneurs pursuing a Micro-Business, including Feasibility Study and Business Plan and extending to  cash flow and management topics.
-Classes are arranged by Topic and recommended for Start-Up, Survival or Break Even/Early Growth stages of the business.
