How to Get Started with eDev

Opening a business can be both exhilarating and frightening. Exhilirating when you make your first sale and accomplish tasks that you did not think were possible. Frightening when you realize that you are thousands of dollars in debt because you built a business and nobody came. We've seen both success stories and failures. By working with us, we can help you improve your odds of success and reduce your risks of failure. eDev has access to computers for classes.

eDev serves individuals living in the state of Oregon. We provide services and support to those seeking Self-Employment and those working toward a Micro-Business.  We encourage you to contact us if you are thinking of setting up a business or wanting to expand your business. You must meet complete an application and, in order to be eligibile for free services, you must meet our eligibility requirements.  We also work with rural communities to help build out their economic infrastructure.

Program services fall into three categories:

Registration Forms

eDev has a fairly straight-forward application process.  We do need to keep a file for each client, as our own funders and grants require this - the good news is that you may be eligible for our services free of charge.
These are the requirements:

(1) The Application itself, which you will need to print, complete and return.  (Alternatively, you could obtain one at the eDev office).
(2) Income Documentation must accompany the application.  The application instructions contains guidelines that will help you understand what might be appropriate for your situation.
(3) If you live outside the boundaries of Eugene or Springfield, a third signature is needed on this single-page "user certification" form.
