How to Get Started with eDev
Opening a business can be both exhilirating and frightening. Exhilirating when you make your first sale and accomplish tasks that you did not think were possible. Frightening when you realize that you are thousands of dollars in debt because you built a business and nobody came. We've seen both success stories and failures. By working with us, we can help you improve your odds of success and reduce your risks of failure.
eDev serves individuals living in the state of Oregon. We provide services and support to those seeking Self-Employment and those working toward a Micro-Business. We encourage you to contact us if you are thinking of setting up a business or wanting to expand your business. You must meet complete an application and, in order to be eligibile for free services, you must meet our eligibility requirements. We also work with rural communities to help build out their economic infrastructure.
Program services fall into three categories:
- Training (classes, workshops, and peer groups)
- Technical Assistance (one-to-one counseling, business planning assistance, marketing assistance, and management assistance)
- Access to Capital (microloans, Individual Development Accounts)
